Our network of dedicated educators and research scholars seeks to advance STEAM education and contribute novel forms of educational technologies that inspire the next generation of students. We firmly believe that modern learning requires a unique interdisciplinary approach to make learning come alive. While STEAM topics allow students to understand the intricacies of the world through an omni-faceted approach, educational technologies, such as machine learning models and forms of augmented reality, have the power to revolutionize how students connect with concepts and collaborate.

Researching STEAM pedagogies is therefore critical in the modern age to instill an interest in scientific inquiry and the creative process. FERN is dedicated to supporting student learning through hands-on projects in science and technology.
