Call for Papers

FERN invites researchers, scholars, educators, and practitioners to submit original research papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of education. We welcome papers on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to STEAM education research, multilingual education research, multicultural education research, and educational technology.

Submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and accepted papers will be published in our online research journal. This is an excellent opportunity to share your research findings with a global audience and contribute to the dialogue on important issues in education.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions should be written in a manner that is accessible to a wide range of readers, including those who may not be familiar with the specific subject matter. Manuscripts must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Length: Articles should not exceed 8,500 words (excluding references, notes, and tables), double-spaced, and with one-inch margins.
  • Cover Letter: Include author(s) name, full mailing address, email address, and phone number. Place the author’s name only in the cover letter.
  • Abstract: Include a separate page with an abstract of no more than 200 words.
  • Keywords: Specify a list of relevant keywords.
  • Title Page: Exclude the author’s name, address, or institutional affiliation to help maintain anonymity during the review process, ensuring that the manuscript is evaluated based on its content rather than the author's identity or affiliation.
  • Paper Format: APA 7th edition.
  • Tables/Figures: Include no more than two half-page or one full-page.
  • Document Format: .docx or .doc

Editorial Process

  • Authors will receive an acknowledgment email upon receipt of their manuscript.
  • All submissions will be carefully considered, with authors being informed of the decision within 1 to 2 months.
  • Decision types include 1) accept, 2) accept with minor revisions, 3) accept with major revisions, and 4) do not accept.
  • During the online submission process, authors will be required to confirm that their work is original, agree to grant first publication rights to Future Education Research Network Inc., and provide assurances regarding copyright and indemnification.
  • Editorial changes may be made to enhance clarity, concision, and style.
